Homecoming 2011 Theme/Logo Contest

CANTON, Mo. – The Culver-Stockton College alumni office is excited to announce it is hosting a contest to determine the theme and logo for the 2011 Homecoming.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members and friends of C-SC will have the opportunity to submit their ideas for the 2011 Homecoming theme and logo. The contest runs now through May 6, 2011.

The Homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, 2011. The Culver-Stockton Wildcats will take on the Missouri Valley Vikings. The winning theme and logo will be selected by the Homecoming board and will be the basis for all events throughout the week-long Homecoming celebration leading up to the game. Past themes include: Blue Express, Wild with Pride and the 2010 theme was True to Blue.

The person who submits the winning theme will choose one prize package from three various prize packages offered. Prize packages include, but are not limited to: iTunes cards, Flip video camera, restaurant gift cards, Culver-Stockton apparel and a pair of tickets to all events during the week-long homecoming celebration. The winner will also have the chance to serve as a judge for the homecoming parade.

Deadline for submission is May 6, 2011. The contest is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. Only one person can win for an entry. If more than one entry is submitted with the same or similar theme, the winner will be the first submitter. The C-SC alumni office will determine and notify the winner by May 13, 2011. All entries become the property of Culver-Stockton College and must be family-friendly to be considered. Beyond the prizes awarded, the winner will not receive any compensation for the use of their theme submission.
Send your homecoming theme/logo contest submissions to: cschomecomingcontest@culver.edu or mail them to the Culver-Stockton College Alumni Office, One College Hill, Canton, MO 63435. Art work submissions must follow the criteria listed and be included as an attachment to the e-mail.

All files must be at least 300 dpi and will only be accepted in the following formats: jpeg, pdf, bmp or tiff. Once a final selection is made, all original files (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and links must be sent to the Alumni Office at cschomecomingcontest@culver.edu.
