“Raise the Roar” announced as 2011 Culver-Stockton Homecoming theme

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College is calling on alumni and friends to “Raise the Roar,” as the college prepares for the 2011 Homecoming celebration.
The “Raise the Roar” theme and logo were selected after careful consideration of all submissions made to the C-SC Homecoming theme/logo contest, which ended May 16. Honorable Mention is being awarded to Brooke Walbring, 9, daughter of Lori (Venvertloh) Walbring ’97 and Matt Walbring of Quincy, Ill. For her submission, “Be Wild about C-SC,” Brooke will receive a C-SC spirit prize package.
The Homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011. The Culver-Stockton Wildcats will take on the Missouri Valley Vikings. The 2011 Homecoming reunions will include men’s and women’s soccer and all Greek organizations that have such an important part of Culver-Stockton College’s 158 year history.
