College prep, working with others added to C-SC free speaker series

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College’s expert speaker series is expanding with new presenters and subject matters for the 2011-2012 school year. The Experience our Expertise speaker series is offered by the college as a free service to area schools, civic organizations, businesses and groups. This year, ten additional presentations offered by nine faculty and staff members have been added to C-SC’s already expansive speaker series. Additions include, Applying for Financial Aid, Inside the College Search Process, Learning Styles and Successful Test Strategies, Television and Radio Broadcasting, American Women’s History, Generational Differences: How to Work Effectively with Others, Collegiate Basketball, Collegiate Soccer, Business in Europe, and Life and Philosophy of Albert Schweitzer.
Through the Experience our Expertise speaker series, Culver-Stockton College faculty and staff are available for speeches, performances and discussions on a variety of subject matters free of charge. These engaging, insightful and entertaining presentations are perfect for a variety of audiences and age groups. Presentation subject matters range from college preparation to business management and leadership skills. Our expert faculty and staff are also prepared to discuss religion, education, health, history and a variety of other topics.
