Annual Scholarship Appreciation Day unites donors, student recipients
Monday, October 31, 2011
CANTON, Mo. – Nearly 100 donor scholarship representatives and recipients are expected to attend Culver-Stockton College’s Annual Scholarship Appreciation Day on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. The program, hosted in Meaders Lounge inside the Gladys Crown Center on the C-SC campus, will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event will bring together dozens of scholarship students and the donors who make the annual and endowed scholarships possible. The program is also the college’s opportunity to express its appreciation for the generosity of donors.
“This is an event that the Advancement and Alumni Office looks forward to hosting every year,” said Eric Barkley, vice president for advancement and alumni programs. “Culver-Stockton is proud to offer a wide-variety of scholarship opportunities for students, but those scholarships would not be possible without the generosity of our outstanding alumni and friends. We are so very grateful for the support this college receives, and this program is just a small token of our appreciation,” he continued.
