Wednesday, January 25, 2012
CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College Professor of Physical Science Dr. Robert Sadler invites community members to attend his discussion, “Global Climate Change,” on Tuesday, Feb. 21. "Climate and climate change are recurring topics in the news media,” explains Sadler. “We will discuss how we define climate, natural and anthropogenic factors that influence climate, how we can reconstruct past climate conditions, and what we might expect in future climate changes,” he continues.
The “Global Climate Change” discussion will begin at 7 p.m. in room 208 of the Science Center on the Culver-Stockton College campus. The event is free and open to members of the Canton community; students are also encouraged to attend. This event is being offered as part of Culver-Stockton College’s Academic and Culture Events program, which is intended to broaden students’ academic pursuits, introduce current issues, serve as a forum for ethical concerns, offer cultural breadth and refinement, and stimulate new directions and perspectives for thought.
