New degree offered through Culver-Stockton’s Connected Campus
Wednesday, February 15, 2012

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College announces its online degree completion program, Connected Campus, is expanding to now include a criminal justice program. “The criminal justice field always needs qualified applicants for a wide variety of careers in law enforcement, corrections, as well as within federal and state agencies. Culver-Stockton criminal justice graduates are well respected and experience a high placement rate after graduation. Our curriculum has attracted faculty who are seasoned veterans in law enforcement and the criminal courts; and who look forward to introducing you to the Culver-Stockton connected campus experience,” comments Judy Abbott, C-SC senior lecturer in criminal justice. Abbott, along with C-SC Senior Lecturer in criminal justice David Carrothers, will serve as faculty for the criminal justice Connected Campus program.

Connected Campus is a non-residential online undergraduate degree program designed for adult students who wish to further their knowledge and complete their bachelor’s degree. Courses are taught in a five- or eight-week accelerated format, with the option of full- or part-time enrollment. The online format offers students the benefit of setting their own work pace and offers them the flexibility necessary to complete their education while continuing their current career.

In addition to the new criminal justice degree completion program, Culver-Stockton’s Connected Campus program offers a business degree with specializations in accounting and finance or organizational management.

Applications are now being accepted for the criminal justice and business programs. Students with an associate degree or a minimum of 50 credit hours of undergraduate course work and a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale are encouraged to apply. A free application is available online at www.culver.edu/connectedcampus. Some students may qualify for financial assistance. Non-degree seeking adults interested in completing courses for personal or professional development are also encouraged to apply.
