Culver-Stockton inducts new Alpha Chi National College Honor Society members

Canton, Mo. -- Culver-Stockton College is proud to announce the induction of 13 students into the Missouri Beta chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. The ceremony was held Wednesday, April 18 in Johnson Hall Parlor on the Culver-Stockton College campus.

Faculty co-sponsor Scott Giltner and Division of Humanities and Social Sciences Chair Patrick Hotle welcomed the new members into the society. Mr. Rod Walton, associate professor of history at Culver-Stockton College, delivered this year’s charge to initiates, family and friends. Alpha Chi honors those juniors and seniors in the top ten percent of their class.

New inductees include:
Abiade Adeleye, senior accountancy and finance major from Gowon Estate.
Holly Allen, senior business major from LaGrange, Mo.
Levi Buckman, senior media communication major from Stoutsville, Mo.
Courtney Cahalan, senior elementary education major from Edina, Mo.
Maria Clark, senior graphic design major from Canton, Mo.
Jeffrey DeGraw, senior art management major from Incline Village, Nv.
Julianna Gillam, senior psychology and occupational therapy major from Media, Ill.
David Gross, senior business major from Mt. Sterling, Ill.
Jonie Kirchner, senior elementary education major from Kahoka, Mo.
Jessica Martin, senior elementary education major from Palmyra, Mo.
Anna Nytes, senior psychology major from Quincy, Ill.
Jennifer Spargur, senior management – information systems major from Bloomfield, Iowa.
Meghan Townley, senior media communication major from Quincy, Ill.

Founded in 1922, Alpha Chi has more than 300 chapters nationally and works toward the goal of “Making Scholarship Effective for Good”.
