Culver-Stockton students honored by Missouri College Media Association

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College announces the recognition of several students for outstanding work on the student-led newspaper, The Megaphone.

Through the Missouri College Media Association Newspaper Contest the following students were recognized:

Allen Searson, senior media communication major from Canton, Mo., 1st place – Advertisement Design

Mandi Walker, senior graphic design major, Honorable Mention – Advertisement Design

Rylan Swank, junior music education major from St. Joseph, Mo., 2nd place - Arts and Entertainment Page Layout

Ciarra Mackey, sophomore speech communication major from Rosemont, Ill., 3rd place - Features Page Layout

Kelsey Vaughn, senior speech communication major from Lewistown, Ill., 2nd place - Best Editorial Page

The Megaphone is Culver-Stockton’s monthly, student-led newspaper serving the college since 1919.
