Ft. Zumwalt Band Camp on Campus

CANTON, Mo.—Culver-Stockton College is playing host to the Fort Zumwalt West High School band camp. One hundred and twenty campers, along with 30 instructors and chaperones, are getting the college experience as they sleep in the dorms, eat cafeteria food and practice all around campus. The students will spend the week rehearsing music, learning drill blocking and practicing marching basics. The students are also participating in team building exercises and group activities.
Camp started Sunday, July 29 and runs through Friday, August 3. An awards ceremony will be held Friday afternoon once the students return to Fort Zumwalt West High School, located in O’Fallon, Mo.
