Thursday, August 23, 2012

CANTON, Mo.--Students and faculty gathered in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium Thursday, Aug. 23, for the All-College Convocation, the first formal academic assembly of the school year. The audience stood as Dr. Eliot Jones, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, played the organ and faculty and staff in their academic costume and regalia processed into the auditorium. Devon Ossorio, director of student activities and intramurals, led the invocation and Sean McAvoy, junior history major and student government association president, gave an inspiring welcoming speech.
