C-SC professor chosen as panelist for Missouri Arts Council

Dr. Steve Long has been chosen to serve as an adviser for the Missouri Arts Council’s Advisory Panel for Literature. Dr. Long was chosen by the Missouri Arts Council (MAC) based on a number of criteria, including his professional background and expertise. He will serve on the panel for one year, making recommendations on literature and authors for the economic support of the state-funded MAC. Members of the Advisory Panels play an important role in MAC’s grant making process by reviewing applications for funding, and monitoring arts programs.

Former C-SC professor, Steve Wiegenstein, nominated Dr. Long for this appointment.
