EXP@CSC Rewards
The EXP@CSC Rewards program is designed to help students take advantage of the many experiential courses offered as part of the Culver-Stockton curriculum. Students can accrue up to $1,500 in EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers during their four years at Culver-Stockton to use toward payment of any special fees associated with taking courses during the three-week EXP@CSC short term. These might include costs for courses that involve domestic or foreign travel, research materials, off-campus internship expenses, attendance at approved academic conferences or other authorized expenses.
Rewards vouchers can only be used for EXP@CSC course expenses and cannot be applied toward payment of tuition, room, board, books or other usual fees.
- At the beginning of your third consecutive semester as a full-time C-SC student in good standing, you are entitled to a $500 EXP@CSC Rewards voucher.
- At the beginning of your fifth consecutive semester as a full-time C-SC student in good standing, you are entitled to another $500 EXP@CSC Rewards voucher plus any unused portion of your first voucher.
- At the beginning of your seventh consecutive semester as a full-time C-SC student in good standing, you are entitled to another $500 EXP@CSC Rewards voucher plus any unused portions of your previous vouchers.
- To redeem EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers, students must be in good academic standing and must have less than $500 as their student account balance.
- Students must be enrolled continuously as full-time C-SC students to earn and redeem EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers.
- Students who drop out of full-time status or who lose their good standing as defined in C-SC policies lose their accrued voucher earnings.
- Students who do not use their EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers during their C-SC career forfeit the vouchers.
- EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers are redeemed when you register for a course with EXP@CSC activities.
- Expenses for EXP activities not covered by EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers will be added to the student’s account at the time of registering for the course.
- Students dropping an EXP@CSC course at any time may lose their voucher.
For Freshmen
Although you do not receive your first EXP@CSC Rewards voucher until your third consecutive semester, you will benefit from EXP@CSC courses as part of the first-year curriculum. You also will register for a three-week in-depth course option for each semester of your first year.
For Nursing Students
Nursing students may receive financial aid scholarships from Culver-Stockton College during their freshman and sophomore years. During that time, they also are eligible to participate in the EXP@CSC rewards program. Once a nursing student is accepted as a junior by the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing, then Blessing-Rieman determines their financial aid for their junior and senior years. At that point, the student is no longer eligible for the EXP@CSC rewards program.
For Transfer Students
Transfer students bringing less than 30 college credit hours to the C-SC campus will adhere to the freshman rules.
Transfer students with more than 30 hours can accrue up to $1,000 in EXP@CSC Rewards vouchers on the following schedule:
- At the beginning of your third consecutive semester as a full-time C-SC student in good standing, a $500 EXP@CSC Rewards voucher.
- At the beginning of your fifth consecutive semester as a full-time C-SC student in good standing, another $500 EXP@CSC Rewards voucher plus any unused portion of your first voucher.
