  • Studied religion & society, as well as the history and culture of Greece.
  • Traveled around Lewis County, Missouri visiting and learning from local entrepreneurs about the ins and outs of owning a business in a rural area.
  • Students traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to enrich their academic experience through cultural immersion, applying classroom knowledge in real-world contexts to gain global perspectives and engage with the world around them.
  • Studied in Iceland how humans interact with their social and physical environments through a psychological lens. Topics include how we perceive and interpret our surroundings, the effects of environmental factors on mood and mental health, and the psychological foundations of sustainable behavior.
  • Students traveled to Washington D.C. gaining a first-hand look at how democratic institutions operate and how they interact with private enterprise. By visiting national landmarks and engaging directly with leaders, students could better understand how public policy and business intersect in the real world.

  • Partnered with Global Brigades in rural Panama to address health inequities by working directly with patients in under-resourced communities, and examining how access to clean water, sanitation, and healthcare infrastructure shapes population health outcomes.

Longer-Term Study Abroad

If longer-term study abroad for a semester or year is your plan, we have that covered as well. We have partner schools and opportunities that have taken our students across the world to study abroad. If you want to teach in Australia, we have made that happen before and we can help you. We've also had a student study the hospitality industry in London for a semester. We are here to listen to what you want to study and help you find the right location here in the U.S. or across the world.
