Standout in Your Field!

Success in the agricultural industry today requires more than just knowledge of agricultural methods – it requires an understanding of economics, supply chain, technology, agricultural policy, product development, entrepreneurship, and global markets.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations estimates that U.S. farmers will have to produce more than 70 percent of the world’s food needs by 2050 to feed a population expected to surpass nine billion people. The Agribusiness Management major gives you the skills and best practices for agricultural product development, profit maximization, and investment planning. You will learn about various industries within agriculture, how to improve agricultural operations, and skills that will translate into a desired position with companies who seek dynamic, educated, professionals. You will also learn to use quantitative tools such as statistics, accounting methods, computer programs, and investment analysis to solve agricultural management and planning problems.

The C-SC Difference

Nestled among the rich fields of Lewis County, Missouri, we are in a great place to provide our students with resources to ignite their learning journey. Surrounded by over 200,000 acres of farmland and part of the thriving agricultural community that moves commodities up and down the Mississippi River, Culver-Stockton College provides unique opportunities for students to study the agricultural impact on communities, help create projects and conduct research important to the region and develop connections with companies who are headquartered in the area.

We have developed relationships that will provide you unique and exciting internship opportunities. Our 12 + 3 academic semester calendar makes these easy to work into your schedule without sacrificing time on your other coursework. Whether you devote your three-week term or choose a local option that can be worked in during the 12-week term for your internship, you have options. We are surrounded by agribusinesses and they are excited to have you intern! Our curriculum will make sure you are ready.

My passion has always been agriculture, and I chose to attend Culver-Stockton College because I knew my education would focus on hands-on learning. C-SC has given me the opportunity to learn from and network with regional and national leaders. These connections are setting me up for successful entry into the workforce as I will become part of the community that feeds the world!
