HEALTH SCIENCE
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This major is for individuals interested in pursuing entry-level careers or advanced professional degrees in health-related professions. The Health Promotion track engages students in hands-on, client-centered coursework that actively prepares them for professions in health promotion/education, corporate wellness, personal training/coaching or nutrition studies. Students in the Rehabilitation Science track will engage in a science-based curriculum emphasizing prerequisite coursework, preparing for entrance in advanced professional degree programs at other institutions, such as dietetics, physical therapy or chiropractic medicine. Students also can pursue an accelerated (3+2) Master of Athletic Training degree at C-SC, finishing both bachelors and masters degrees in five years.
