About this Program

Culver-Stockton’s English Education program provides the necessary training to become a well-prepared secondary English teacher in today’s changing world. The specific English Education courses give you the information to succeed and provide multiple opportunities to practice and develop instructional strategies in real-world settings at area schools.

What Makes the Program Distinctive?

Two of our full-time faculty have secondary-teaching experience, so they know what it takes to be properly trained. Our long-standing placement record speaks for itself. For the past ten years 100% of our graduates who wanted to teach have secured employment in their field.
