Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Forensic Accounting (Online)

Mitchell Barton stands next to his police truck. Mitchell is a C-SC grad with a Criminal Justice degree.

About the Program

Students in the Criminal Justice program gain knowledge specific to the institutions and processes of criminal justice. The program prepares students both academically and with real-world scenarios to better understand the specific criminal justice field they are pursuing. Students pursuing a criminal justice degree are able to gain entry into public agencies at the municipal, county, state or federal level, as well as the corporate sector.

What Makes the Program Distinctive?

Just as Culver-Stockton College distinguishes itself as an experiential learning campus, so does the criminal justice program. The criminal justice professors have over 40 years of in-the-field experience in a variety of law enforcement and investigative positions. This experience is brought into the classroom to make a learning environment in which the students will be better prepared once they graduate Culver-Stockton College.

After C-SC

The majority of those graduating with a degree in criminal justice go on to work as police or corrections officers. Others pursue careers in the military, juvenile justice or social work.

“We have such a unique criminal justice program because each professor has many years of previous law enforcement experience. With their experience, they can provide students with life and work advice. The professors are passionate about what they teach and about their students succeeding in school and after graduation.”
–Keylee Gregg ’17
