Sport Management

If you have a passion for sports and competition and want to become a skilled professional in handling every aspect within the world of sports, you may find a major in Sport Management to be the perfect fit. Whether you dream of managing teams, facilities or events, there are a multitude of positions available. You will study the financial aspects through a sport finance class, the marketing opportunities through your sport marketing course, or handling all the details of a major event in the facilities and events class that is a part of your curriculum.

We are committed to making sure you learn beyond what is written in books about Sport Management so we provide you opportunities to put what you study into action. Our students have traveled multiple times to the Boca Raton Bowl in Florida to assist with game administration, and while they are there, they enjoy the view of the game from the field. Our faculty also leads study abroad courses every other year to various locations around the world including Greece to visit the birthplace of the Olympics, Ireland and Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. You will also have access to game day operations at athletic events on campus.
