Culver-Stockton offers a two-year transfer student graduation guarantee for transfer students from MacMurray if they have completed 60 hours toward a bachelor’s degree.
How does this help? Regardless of what your major was for your first two years at MacMurray, you can select from 16 of C-SC’s most popular majors – accountancy, art, business, criminal justice, English, finance, health science, healthcare management, history, international studies, marketing, music, political science, psychology, sport management and theater – and receive the two-year guarantee. The transition is easy, you will save money because you’re spending less time in school, and you’ll be graduating on time.
Finding a Career
Culver-Stockton was ranked as the top college or university in Missouri for getting a job in 2019, according to Zippia, Inc., a California-based national resource website with career information for job seekers. Ninety-eight percent of our students are employed or in grad school within six months of graduating.
Some of our most popular majors also are among our most acclaimed majors. Our business department has been recognized by multiple websites, and our nursing department is partnered with the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing in Quincy, Ill., which has a 100 percent job placement rate. Many of our psychology majors also take advantage of the child advocacy studies CAST (coping and support training) curriculum that prepares them across multiple disciplines to be trauma-informed professionals, and our criminal justice majors have a strong track record of getting jobs as police or corrections officers.
Culver-Stockton offers athletes a chance to continue to play the sports they love. We have 20 athletic teams and 62% of all C-SC students participate in intercollegiate sports. Sixteen C-SC teams were recognized in 2018-19 as NAIA Scholar-Teams with team grade-point averages of 3.0 or better.
